Marcus Berdeguez

Marcus Berdeguez has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being a Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator at The Shubert Organization since September 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Financial Coordinator from November 2018 to July 2021 and Accounts Payable Coordinator from April 2018 to November 2018 at the same company.

Before joining The Shubert Organization, Marcus worked as a New Victory Operations Assistant at The New 42nd Street, Inc. from July 2013 to April 2018. Marcus also had a brief stint as FOH Staff at The Public Theater from May 2013 to July 2013 and as a Social Media Intern at Pekoe Group in January 2013.

Marcus gained valuable experience during their time at SUNY Fredonia, where they held various roles. Marcus served as a Social Media Intern for the Department of Theatre and Dance from September 2012 to December 2012, where they successfully implemented new social media campaigns to improve audience relations and increase ticket sales. Additionally, they worked as a Rockefeller Arts Center Crew member from September 2010 to December 2012.

In 2012, Marcus also had the opportunity to work as a New Victory Operations Apprentice at The New 42nd Street, Inc. During this role, they gained knowledge in managing a not-for-profit theater, assisting in financial management, artist contract tracking, visa application preparation, and spreadsheet creation. Marcus was also able to shadow and assist other departments such as Marketing and Digital Services.

Marcus Berdeguez attended the State University of New York at Fredonia from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theatre/Theater.
