Lindsey Horan

Lindsey Horan is the Chief Advocacy Officer at the Society for Women's Health Research (SWHR) since June 2021, bringing extensive experience in government affairs and advocacy. Prior to this role, Lindsey served as the Assistant Director of Government Affairs at the American Association for Dental Research/International Association for Dental Research from September 2017 to June 2021 and held various positions at AcademyHealth, culminating as Senior Manager of Advocacy. Lindsey's earlier experience includes roles at Moore Communications Group, GAPolitico, Athens Regional Medical Center, and the Office of Senator Bill Nelson, emphasizing expertise in communications, legislative research, and advocacy strategies. Lindsey Horan earned a M.A. in Global Communication from The George Washington University and holds dual Bachelor degrees in Journalism and International Affairs/Public Relations from The University of Georgia.
