Philip Newcomb is the Executive Chairman and Chief Technology Officer at The Software Revolution, Inc., a role held since January 1995, and the recipient of the 2011 Stevens Award for contributions to Architecture-Driven Reengineering and the commercialization of automated renovation tools. Previously, Newcomb spent 13 years at Boeing's Artificial Intelligence Center, focusing on applied research in software engineering and artificial intelligence. Education includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Ball State University and graduate work at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Washington, along with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Psychology from Indiana State University.
