Kris Trainor

Kris Trainor, CPA, CFE, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for The Southern Credit Union since January 2023. Trainor has been involved with Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University as an Advisory Council Member and Dean's Advisory Board Member since October 2019, contributing expertise to the School of Accountancy. Prior to the current role, Trainor was a partner at Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC, serving from December 1995 until retirement in January 2023, where the firm focused on providing high-quality audit, accounting, and tax services. Trainor holds a BBA in Accounting from Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University, completed in 1995, and participated in Leadership Cobb from 2006 to 2007.
