Dan Alia

Dan Alia serves as Chief Operating Officer and Enrollment Advisor at The Speaker Lab since January 2022, specializing in helping individuals explore careers as Professional Speakers. Concurrently, Dan is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Delaware, teaching a senior-level Sales Practicum course. With extensive experience at Stanley Black & Decker from 2003 to 2022, Dan held various leadership roles, ultimately serving as Global Training Director, where oversight of a 25-member team focused on training for Sales & Marketing. Dan also managed corporate training programs and marketing strategies, engaging with major retail partners. Earlier career experience includes medical device sales at Alcon and Boston Scientific, and foundational sales roles at Stanley Black & Decker, managing territories and client relationships. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware, obtained in 1999.
