Joanna Schafhausen Stover

Joanna Schafhausen Stover is a seasoned Certified Athletic Trainer and Educator currently working at the Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children since February 2024. With extensive experience in various roles, Joanna has served as an Athletic Trainer for The Spirit Consultants since August 2010, a Wellness and PE Educator at Geffen Academy at UCLA from January 2020 to February 2024, and as an Athletic Trainer, Physical Education Teacher, and Dean of Summer Programs at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences from August 2012 to January 2020. Previous experience includes a Personal Trainer position at Equinox, a summer internship as a Certified Athletic Trainer with the New York Jets, and serving as Head Athletic Trainer and teacher at Mission Viejo High School. Joanna holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, with an additional focus on psychology, from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
