Emma Bellwood

Emma Bellwood (Assoc CIPD) is an accomplished Director of People and Culture at Splendid Hospitality Group since January 2022, overseeing HR strategies for a portfolio of 10 hotels, including the prestigious 5* luxury hotel, The Grand, York. Previously, Emma served as Human Resources Director at The Grand, contributing to the hotel's recognition as the Catey Award's Hotel of the Year 2022 and earning a place among the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023. With extensive experience in various HR roles across notable companies, including Amaris Hospitality, Marriott International, Harvey Nichols, Jurys Inn Hotel Group, The Hotel Collection, and QHotels, Emma has developed a strong foundation in generalist HR functions. Emma holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Teesside University and has completed CIPD qualifications between 2019 and 2021.
