Denniston Reid

Denniston Reid has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being the Co-Chief Executive Officer at Excellence Community Schools since July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Schools and Innovation Officer at the same company from September 2017 to June 2021. Additionally, Denniston Reid has a background in education and founded the S.T.E.M., Shakespeare & Politics Summer Institute in 2002, where they continue to work as the Founder & Managing Partner.

Denniston Reid holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University. Denniston then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Politics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Building on their expertise in education, Denniston obtained a Doctor of Education degree in Educational and Organizational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, they have a certification in the Education Policy Fellowship Program from the Institute for Educational Leadership.
