Laurent Fresnel

Laurent Fresnel is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in driving transformation across various industries. Currently serving as Group Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at The Star Entertainment Group since January 2014, Laurent has spearheaded major initiatives, including the development of Australia's first cashless casino system. Previously, Laurent held leadership roles at News Corp Australia, Hostworks Ltd, and Accenture Australia, where significant contributions included IT infrastructure transformation and strategic planning for digital business models. Laurent co-founded NPS Systems, leading the development of innovative automation software for the radio industry. Early career experiences include positions at notable companies such as IBM France and Ubisoft. Laurent holds a Master's degree in Mobile Telephony and an Engineer's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management, along with executive leadership training from the McKinsey Executive Leadership Program.
