Sam Whelan

Sam Whelan is an experienced product manager with a strong background in the gaming industry. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at The Stars Group since November 2020, Sam has held multiple roles there, including Poker Product Project Manager and Poker Product Manager. Prior to this, Sam took a career break from January 2019 to October 2020. Previously, Sam worked at bet365 from September 2014 to January 2019, holding positions as Poker Manager and Poker Operations Coordinator. Earlier experience includes a role as Casino Product Manager and Casino & Games Product Administrator at Betfred from April 2013 to August 2014. Sam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Loughborough University between 2008 and 2011, and attended Hitchin Boys' Grammar School from 2001 to 2008.
