Alexander Funnell

Alexander Funnell is an experienced educator and administrator with a background in physical life sciences. Currently serving as Dean of Students at The Stone Independent School since July 2022, Alexander previously held multiple roles at King's Academy from August 2013 to July 2022, including Faculty in the Department of Physical Life and Sciences, Dean of Residential Life, and Dean of Students. Prior experience includes a faculty position at The Forman School from December 2008 to May 2013, where Alexander specialized in developing engaging lessons for diverse high school students in subjects such as Geography, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Geoscience from Tulane University, earned in 2008, and attended Pomfret School from 2000 to 2004.
