Emily McDonald

Emily McDonald is an accomplished entrepreneur with significant experience in the fashion industry. As a Co-Founder of My Founders Circle since January 2022, Emily focuses on supporting female founders in launching and scaling their businesses. Prior to this, Emily founded The Stylist LA in May 2009, a women's clothing rental subscription service catering to Millennial and Gen Z consumers. Emily's earlier roles include Assistant to the Designer at Keemia, where responsibilities included product design and manufacturing, and Assistant to the COO at YaYa Aflalo, supporting the production of women's contemporary clothing lines. Emily's career began with positions as a Sales Representative at Toolbox Showroom, General Assistant at Blue Tattoo Clothing, and Fashion Assistant at Kara Dors PR, where engagement with celebrities and stylists honed marketing and promotional skills. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and an AAPD in Product Development from FIDM.
