Firas Hamdan has extensive experience in the retail industry, particularly with The Sultan Center. Firas started their career in 1998 as a Category Manager, where they successfully increased sales and gross profit in the Dairy and Frozen food departments. Firas then moved on to become a Division Manager, responsible for supermarket buying and the opening of a service store in Oman. Firas later became a Senior Division Manager, where they managed the supermarket and fresh food buying, introduced new product offerings, and increased sales. In 2006, they took on the role of Commercial Manager, overseeing the FMCG, fresh food, and nonfood departments, and significantly increased revenues through the opening of new store concepts. Firas became Commercial Development Manager in 2011 and was responsible for revamping menus, introducing shared sales services, and building exclusive ranges for a Gourmet store. In 2013, they were promoted to Commercial Director, handling FMCG, fresh food, and nonfood departments and successfully increasing sales and commercial margins. Most recently, Firas served as the Commercial and Operation Director, managing a team and further improving commercial margins. Overall, Firas Hamdan has a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving operational efficiencies in the retail industry.
Firas Hamdan graduated with a BS degree in marketing from the Lebanese American University in 1996. Prior to that, they completed their GCCE at the International School of Chouiefat / England in 1991.
