David Linton has been a Court and Crime Reporter at The Sun Chronicle since 1985, focusing on crime and legal matters at various levels. Linton has also served as an Editor/Reporter, handling world and national wire service news alongside local news under tight deadlines. Additional experience includes covering government affairs as a Municipal Beat Reporter in Norton, North Attleboro, and Plainville, as well as government affairs and human interest stories in Seekonk and Rehoboth. Prior to journalism, Linton managed a Dairy Mart convenience store and trained managers for a regional chain. Linton holds a BA in Journalism and Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned between 1980 and 1984.
