Benjamin Morse

Benjamin Morse is a Retail and Leisure Reporter at The Sun News, focusing on the tourism economy, local business, and real estate development since June 2023. Prior to this role, Benjamin served as a Sports Beat Reporter for Coastal Carolina University, where coverage of football was significantly re-established, earning recognition from the SC Press Association. Experience also includes teaching assistance at American University, an internship at The Island Packet covering local government, and various roles in sports journalism at The American University Eagle and WVAU Student Radio. Additionally, Benjamin has held positions in customer service at The UPS Store and Kroger, as well as an assistant instructor role at St. Matthews Martial Arts. Benjamin holds a double major in Journalism and Economics from American University.
