Jamie Phillips is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in news reporting and editing. Currently serving as the Assistant News Editor at The Sun since June 2023, Jamie contributes to the growth of The Sun Online by spearheading original content ideas and leading a team as the night news editor. Prior experience includes roles as a UK news reporter at MailOnline, where Jamie managed story sourcing and assisted in night news editing, and as a court reporter for MyLondon, covering criminal cases in London. Jamie has also held positions as a senior reporter across multiple regional platforms and worked at The Telegraph, producing news stories for both digital and print. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Level 3 NCTJ Diploma in Journalism from the University of Brighton.
