Dimitrios Ilanidis

Dimitrios Ilanidis, PhD, is an experienced Patent Engineer at PRV since December 2022, following a role as a Research and Development Engineer at EasyMining from January 2021 to November 2022. Prior academic accomplishments include a PhD in Chemistry from Umeå University, focusing on the biochemical refining of lignocellulosic biomass, during which several projects were managed related to the biochemical conversion of plant biomass into bio-based products. Previous experiences also encompass roles as a Laboratory Assistant at Umeå University, supervising undergraduate research, and internships at MoRe Research Örnsköldsvik AB and the Directorate of Rural Development of Serres, Greece. Education credentials consist of a Master of Science in Plant and Forest Biotechnology and a Bachelor and Master equivalent in Agriculture from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
