Tony McQueen

Tony McQueen has a diverse work experience in the field of media and broadcasting. Tony started their career as a Camera Operator at The City of Refuge from 2006 to 2008. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Camera Operator and Technical Director at Greater Grace Temple.

In 2011, Tony joined Adell Broadcasting Co. The Word Network / WADL TV 38 Detroit as a Master Control Operator and Technical Director. Tony was responsible for managing on-air branding, monitoring video/audio quality, integrating program content with commercials, and handling playlists and as-run files.

From 2013 to 2015, Tony worked as a Certified Television Operator at Encompass Digital Media, Inc. where they were in charge of broadcast distribution for over 70 networks. Tony maintained air chain/router paths, audio and video levels, aspect ratio, and lip-sync, and monitored lower third supers.

Tony's roles in asset management and quality assurance include positions at Deluxe Entertainment Services Group (2015-2016), Javelin Distribution, LLC (2015-2018), and Adstream (2016-2018). Tony ensured audio/video specifications met required configurations for television and handled ad delivery and quality assurance.

From 2018 to 2022, Tony worked at IMAX in asset management, keys distribution, post-production, and mastering. Tony gained experience in managing assets and distributing keys, as well as overseeing post-production and mastering processes.

In 2022, Tony joined DigitalGlue as a Broadcast Engineer, contributing to the company's broadcast operations.

Currently, they hold the position of TOC/Network Operations/OTA Management at The Switch. In this role, Tony is responsible for setting up and operating video/audio recording and playback devices. Tony coordinates and troubleshoots incoming and outgoing satellite, OTT media streams, IP transmission, and Telco feeds, and controls and configures satellite equipment and backup feeds. Tony also collaborates with internal and external entities in daily fax coordination and develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the department.
