Aimee May has a diverse work experience in the fields of compliance and risk management. Aimee started their career in 2001 as a Financial Analyst at Ernst & Young, where they later became a Senior Business Risk Services professional. In 2006, they joined KraftMaid Cabinetry as a SOX 404 Analyst, responsible for implementing new operating procedures and coordinating audits. Aimee then moved on to Key Principal Partners as a Control Specialist from 2007 to 2011. At Cyprium Partners, they served as a Compliance Analyst, where they assisted in registration as a Registered Investment Advisor and performed various regulatory duties. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Compliance Officer at The Townsend Group since December 2019, after working as a Compliance Associate for three years. Throughout their career, Aimee May has demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating compliance procedures, as well as financial analysis and audit coordination.
