Ajith Sigera

Ajith Sigera is a finance professional with extensive experience in the travel and banking sectors. Currently serving as Director of Finance at The Travel Corporation since 2006, Ajith has held multiple roles including Manager of Costing and Pricing, where responsibilities included pricing for programs in the U.S., Canada, and South America, as well as overseeing monthly financial close, management reporting, variance analysis, forecasts, and budgets. Previous roles at The Travel Corporation include Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant, focusing on financial reporting, balance sheet analysis, and reconciliations. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Relationship Manager at DFCC Bank PLC, where project viability analysis and financial appraisals were key responsibilities, and as Accounts Executive at Aitken Spence Travels Ltd, where payment processing and managerial reporting were primary tasks.
