Dan Frey

Dan Frey is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Travelers. He joined Travelers in 2003 and has held a number of key financial management roles across the company, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Personal Insurance segment and Chief Financial Officer for the Claim and Field Management organizations. Before joining Travelers, Frey served as Chief Financial Officer for Spalding Sports Worldwide, where he helped to improve the company’s overall performance and successfully managed the simultaneous sale of three product lines to three buyers. He also held a variety of finance positions at Duracell International, Inc. and began his career in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche, where he earned his CPA. Frey holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut.
