Lucy Duncan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, community engagement, and advocacy for reparative justice. Currently serving as a Truth & Reparations Co-Fellow at The Truth Telling Project, Lucy supports educators in amplifying voices for truth-telling and reparations. As Co-founder and Principal of reparationWorks, Lucy leads initiatives fostering healing and repair within communities. Prior roles include Director of Friends Relations at the American Friends Service Committee, where Lucy developed popular e-courses on anti-racism and immigrant allyship, and Associate Secretary for Programs and Communications at Friends General Conference, overseeing strategic projects and branding efforts. With roots in education as a 2nd/3rd grade teacher and a background in philosophy and mathematics, Lucy combines a passion for progressive pedagogy with a commitment to social justice.
