Bram Stein

Bram Stein has had a diverse range of work experiences in the technology industry. Bram currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at The Type Founders since 2022. Prior to that, they spent ten years at Adobe as the Head of Webfonts, Senior Computer Scientist, and Architect, where they led the development and operation of a cloud-based font service. Bram also founded Baseref, a consultancy agency focused on building web applications for the publishing industry, and worked as a Director there from 2010 to 2014. Bram was also a Senior Developer and Project Manager at One.com, where they led the web development department and designed architecture for various web applications. Earlier in their career, Bram worked as a Software Developer at the Technical University of Denmark and as a Lead Developer at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). Bram began their career as a Consultant and Developer at Quality Net Link. Overall, Bram has extensive experience in software development, project management, web application architecture, and team management.

Bram Stein received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Media Technology from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) in 2005. Bram then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science from Uppsala University from 2006 to 2008.
