Crystal Tanfield

Crystal Tanfield has worked in various roles in the hospitality and events industry since 2002. Crystal began as an Independent Event Consultant, working for clients at events around the Tri-State Area. In 2003, they became Store Manager at Exotic Flowers and More. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as an Environmental Scientist at Sadat Associates, Inc., conducting preliminary site inspections and creating reports for the DEP. In 2008, they became Events, Membership & Marketing Director at the Raquet Club of Philadelphia, where they drove membership by creating memorable experiences and launching a software program to segment and personalize experiences. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as Director of Facility Rentals & Catering Sales at Brûlée Catering by Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix, exceeding quarterly sales goals by maximizing event space and catering packages. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Membership/Sales Advisor at CLAY Health Club + Spa, generating approximately $53K/mo. in sales. In 2014, they became Director of Member Relations & Marketing at The Union League Club, where they launched multiple events and developed new and existing programs, significantly increasing revenue. During Covid-19, they developed a Virtual Club for members, developed a Fall Fellowship program generating $80k in initial revenue, and launched a Summer Program driving >$500K in record-breaking revenue. Crystal also achieved a 95% conversion rate to full-time members and revamped the Member Orientation program.

Crystal Tanfield obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Rutgers University. Crystal also holds a Certified Membership Professional certification from PCMA, which they obtained in September 2015.
