Sharon Sobol Jordan has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and sectors. Sharon Sobol is currently the President & CEO of the United Way of Greater Cleveland. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of OpenSpace Solutions LLC, a company that helps transformational leaders achieve their goals. Sharon Sobol also served as the President and Board Member of Unify Labs, a nonprofit tech innovation lab focused on eliminating socioeconomic disparities. Before their ventures in the nonprofit sector, Sharon served as the Chief of Staff for Cuyahoga County and held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer at The Centers for Families and Children, where they tripled the organization's size and reach. Sharon Sobol also has experience working for the City of Cleveland as the Director of Law and was a Partner at Schneider Smeltz Ranney & LaFond P.L.L., now known as Schneider Smeltz Spieth Bell, where they practiced law with a focus on litigation, domestic relations, and general corporate matters. Sharon Sobol Jordan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Policy & Administration/Management from Indiana University Bloomington in 1981. Sharon Sobol then pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, completing their degree in 1984. In 2016, Sharon enrolled at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, where they earned an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) in 2018.
