Kate Harris has a background in softball operations and coaching. Kate began their career in 2008 as an Assistant Softball Coach at Creighton University, where they were responsible for recruiting, on-field coaching, and monitoring academic progress. During their time there, the team achieved 2 NCAA Regional qualifications and won 2 Missouri Valley Conference regular season championships and 1 tournament championship. In 2010, Kate joined The University of Alabama as the Director of Softball Operations. In this role, they coordinated team travel, managed financial budgets, organized recruiting visits, and ensured compliance with NCAA and SEC guidelines.
Kate Harris attended Creighton University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sociology. In 2016, they enrolled at The University of Alabama, completing their studies in 2017. Here, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Environmental Sciences, with a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Management, Negotiation & Mediation.
