Tiffini N. Grimes

Tiffini N. Grimes has a diverse work experience in the sports industry, starting with an internship at Maximum Sports Management in 2004. Tiffini N. then served as a Corporate Development Intern at the Houston Texans from 2006 to 2008. In 2007, they joined Valparaiso University Sports Law Clinic as a Student Associate, where they managed a caseload of athlete clientele and assisted with precedent-setting cases until 2009. Grimes worked as an Adjunct Professor at ITT-Tech in 2009 before taking on the role of Administrative Law Judge at the Georgia Department of Labor from 2009 to 2011. Tiffini N. then became a Compliance Assistant at the Georgia Tech Athletic Association for a year. From 2012 to 2014, Grimes served as the Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance at Penn State University Athletic Department. Tiffini N. then moved on to the NCAA as the Assistant Director of Enforcement - Football from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are employed at The University of Alabama, where they have held various positions including Deputy Athletics Director/SWA/Chief Diversity Officer since December 2019, Executive Associate Athletics Director/Chief Diversity Officer since October 2018, Associate Athletic Director/Chief Diversity Officer since May 2017, and Assistant Athletic Director - Football/Basketball since November 2016.

Tiffini N. Grimes earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Purdue University. Tiffini N. then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, English, and Organizational Leadership & Supervision at Purdue University from 2001 to 2005. Later, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University between 2005 and 2008. Lastly, they attended Valparaiso University School of Law from 2006 to 2009, where they received a Juris Doctor degree in Law.
