Steve Patterson currently serves as the Chief Safety Officer at the University of Arizona since April 2023. With over 25 years of experience at the FBI, Steve has held various leadership roles, including Assistant Special Agent in Charge, where responsibilities included fostering collaboration among teams and encouraging innovative investigations. As a Supervisory Special Agent, Steve transformed underperforming groups into high-functioning units targeting transnational organized crime. Additionally, Steve has extensive experience in managing complex international investigations and liaising with foreign law enforcement while overseeing specialized teams. Steve holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management from Northern Arizona University, along with cybersecurity training from Carnegie Mellon University and George Mason University.
