Amber Schmillen

Amber Schmillen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in the healthcare industry. Amber began their career at SSM Health St. Louis in 2007 as a Clinical Nurse and later worked as a Manager of Physician Connectivity at Epic Systems. Amber then moved on to become the Director of Strategy & Business Development at SSM Health St. Louis. In 2014, they joined UChicago Medicine, where they held various positions including Senior Manager of Network Development, Interim Director of Operations, and Executive Director of Operations. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Business Development & Physician Relations at UChicago Medicine.

Amber Schmillen has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
