Brittany Whitmore

Brittany Whitmore is an accomplished fundraiser and development professional with extensive experience in health sciences philanthropy. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Development for Health Sciences - Regional Gifts at The University of Iowa Center for Advancement since August 2015, Brittany has successfully secured over $6.3 million in contributions from medically-trained alumni in several states, following a successful tenure as Associate Director of Development, where over $11.3 million was raised. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Development at UI Stead Family Children's Hospital, leading significant fundraising efforts in pediatrics. Earlier in their career, Brittany worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Target, managing a substantial newborn apparel line, and began their professional journey as a Marketing and Events Intern at the University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center. Brittany holds a degree in Health and Human Physiology with a focus on Health Promotion and Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Iowa.
