Nadina Paisano, CPA, MBA

Nadina Paisano, CPA, MBA has a strong background in finance and accounting. Nadina currently holds the position of Managing Director of Finance at The University of New Mexico Foundation, Inc., a role they began in January 2022. Prior to this, Nadina served as the Controller for the same organization from October 2018 to January 2022.

In 2019, Nadina became a member of the GASB Advisory Council (GASAC) as a NAFOA Representative, contributing their expertise and insights until December 2020.

From 2014 to 2018, Nadina worked as the Controller for Indian Pueblo Marketing Inc., where they actively participated in and managed special projects. Nadina showcased their financial acumen in this role.

Nadina's career started in 2005 at REDW, where they held the position of Senior Accountant. Nadina successfully fulfilled this role for almost eight years, leaving in December 2013.

Throughout their diverse work experience, Nadina has consistently demonstrated their strong financial management and accounting skills, making their a valuable asset in any organization.

Nadina Paisano, CPA, MBA, has a diverse education history. Nadina obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Northern Arizona University-The W. A. Franke College of Business from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree from Mesa Community College from 2000 to 2002.

In 2016, Nadina pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business/Finance from Arizona State University.

In addition to their degrees, Nadina has also obtained several certifications. Nadina became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in November 2013. Furthermore, they completed the Tribal Financial Manager Program from ASU - American Indian Policy Institute in October 2014. In the same year, they also obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification.
