Associate Vice Chancellor Of External Relations & Communications at The University of Texas System

Paul Corliss is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Associate Vice Chancellor of External Relations & Communications for The University of Texas System since June 2022, Corliss previously held the position of Vice Chancellor & Chief Communications Officer at the University of North Texas System from October 2015 to March 2022. Other notable roles include Vice President of Communications & Marketing at the National Basketball Retired Players Association, Director of Communications at Phoenix International Raceway, and Director of Community Affairs/Business Public Relations for the New Orleans Saints. Corliss began their career as a Sports Writer for The Dallas Morning News. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Texas Christian University and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership & Administration from Concordia University-Wisconsin. Corliss is also set to complete the Governor’s Executive Development Program at The University of Texas at Austin in December 2023.
