Stuart Slaven

Stuart Slaven is a seasoned professional in property tax and valuation with extensive experience spanning various roles in the real estate and financial sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Property Tax & Valuation Specialist at Vancouver Fraser Port Authority since March 2023, Stuart has previously worked as a Consultant in Property Tax at Altus Group from April 2021 to March 2023, and as an Analyst for U.S. Mortgage Investments at QuadReal Property Group from April 2019 to April 2021. Additional roles include Analyst positions at bcIMC and BC Assessment, where Stuart focused on mortgages and property appraisal, respectively. Beginning a career at Sorenson Communications as District Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator, Stuart also gained experience as a Performance Measurement Analyst at API Asset Performance Inc. Stuart holds a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from The University of British Columbia and a BA in History from the University of the Fraser Valley.
