Kara Soulia has a diverse range of experience in management and operations roles. Kara started their career in 1989 as the General Manager of Mendon Mountainview Resort Lodge, where they handled all aspects of hotel and restaurant management. In 2000, they joined Marble Valley Transit as the Human Resource Manager and Staff Accountant, overseeing recruitment, training, payroll, and financial management. In the same year, they also joined The Vermont Country Store as a fulfillment supervisor, progressing to become the Sr. Operations Manager in Distribution. Their responsibilities at The Vermont Country Store include inventory control, facilities management, and overseeing pick, pack, and ship operations. In 2001, Kara Soulia briefly worked as the Director of Retailer Services at RetailVision. Overall, they have extensive experience in operations, management, and financial administration.

Kara Soulia began their education at the Community College of Vermont in 1992, where they pursued an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Kara completed this program in 1996. Following this, Kara Soulia attended the College of St. Joseph for a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership. Kara studied at this institution from 1996 to 2000.
