Dr. Peter York

Dr. Peter York has a diverse work experience in data analysis and research. Dr. Peter is currently working as a Lead Product Analyst at The Very Group, where they lead a team of analysts in utilizing advanced analytical techniques to drive business insights and enhance overall performance. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Insight Analyst at The Football Pools, where they played a pivotal role in data-driven decision-making and contributed to the success of the team. Dr. Peter also has experience as a Data Analyst at Sykes Holiday Cottages, where they optimized marketing strategies through advanced analytics. Dr. York has also worked in the public sector as a Strategic Performance Analyst and Economic & Business Development Officer at Cyngor Sir Ddinbych - Denbighshire County Council. Additionally, they have research experience as a Researcher on the UKCES Human Centred Management Project and as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chester.

Dr. Peter York received their BSc in Animal Behaviour from the University of Chester in 2010. Dr. Peter then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Measurement and prediction of Limestone Pavement Grike Microclimates from the same university, completing it in 2020. In addition to their academic qualifications, Dr. York has obtained various certifications, including Data Scientist with Python Track from DataCamp and Python Essential Training from LinkedIn, both in 2021. Dr. Peter also holds certifications in agile methodologies, business analysis, leadership, deep learning, and big data. Dr. Peter York is a registered PRINCE2 Practitioner since June 2017.
