Emma Whalley

Emma Whalley is an experienced leader in financial crime and anti-money laundering (AML), currently serving as the Financial Crime Team Manager at The Very Group since July 2007. Recently, Emma qualified with distinction in the International Compliance Association Advanced Certificate in Anti Money Laundering in August 2023. Prior to this role, Emma was a Data Security Auditor ISO27001 at Shop Direct, where responsibilities included conducting audits to ensure compliance with information security standards. Emma also held the position of Identity Theft Personal Case Worker during tenure at Shop Direct. Emma holds a 2:1 BSc in Accounting and Business/Management from The University of Bolton, completed in 2015.
