Mark Apel

Mark Apel is a seasoned copywriter and writer with extensive experience in creative roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a copywriter at The Village Church since April 2022, Mark has also operated as a freelance writer since January 2016, contributing to churches, passion projects, and short films. Previous positions include marketing coordinator at Walrus Audio and worship pastor at Lake Sharon Community Church, where responsibilities included creative direction and management of musicians and volunteers. Earlier experience includes serving as a music coordinator at Denton Bible Church, focusing on leadership and training for weekend services. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of North Texas, earned between 2007 and 2011.
