Markus Essien

Markus Essien serves as the Chair at Focused Cloud, LLC since June 2024 and as Producer, Director, and Consultant at Essien Productions from September 2023. Additionally, Markus holds the position of Board Member at The Village Ltd, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering inclusion, equity, and belonging through early education. Markus has also worked as Writer, Director, and Producer at Truce Media from October 2022 to November 2023. Previously, Markus was Head of School at The Logan School for Creative Learning from July 2014 to July 2022 and Head of Middle School at Cathedral School for Boys from August 2007 to July 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Treatment from UC Berkeley Extension, and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Howard University.
