Kahlil Williams is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation since February 2024. Previously, Kahlil held the position of Partner at Ballard Spahr LLP from March 2018 to February 2024, where representation encompassed securities litigation and government investigations, along with leadership roles in the Black Lawyers Group and various social justice initiatives. Kahlil's legal career includes a series of associate roles at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from 2011 to 2018, along with summer associate positions at prestigious firms. Kahlil's early career involved policy analysis at the Brennan Center for Justice and a congressional fellowship at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. Kahlil holds a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School, as well as a Master’s and a Ph.D. (ABD) in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University.
