Chad Smith

Chad Smith has a strong background in technical and creative roles within the entertainment industry. Chad currently serves as the Creative Technical Director at The Webb Schools, where they began working in 2022. Prior to this, Chad worked at Walt Disney Imagineering for 11 years as a Senior Special Effects Designer. Chad also has experience as a Theater Technical Director and Facilities Tech at The Webb Schools from 2007 to 2011. Earlier in their career, Chad worked as a Special Effects Production Supervisor at Ride & Show Engineering, Inc. from 2002 to 2007, and as a Technical Director at Knott's Berry Farm from 1993 to 2002. Throughout their career, Chad has demonstrated skills in production planning, personnel management, and technical design.

Chad Smith attended Pasadena City College from 1989 to 1990, where they studied Television Production. Chad did not complete a degree during this time.
