John Robinson

John Robinson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment and consultancy, currently serving as a Partner at Mazarine Ventures, focusing on early-stage technology innovations that tackle climate and environmental risks related to water. Since March 2024, John has also been a Partner at Nonchalant Capital and has provided board-level leadership for The Wetlands Initiative since August 2019, promoting data-driven approaches to wetlands management. Prior to these roles, John founded Mandarin Leader, a Chinese-language media house, and led Mandarin Environment, a consultancy specializing in water and wastewater solutions for North American and European markets. Earlier experience includes consulting positions at Deloitte and Cushman & Wakefield, as well as management at Motorola China. John holds degrees from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and Denison University.
