Joe Akey

Joe Akey is an experienced application engineer currently employed at The Will-Burt Company, a leader in telescopic elevation systems for military and commercial markets. Akey's role involves collaborating with customers and sales teams to design integrated trailer systems based on value propositions. Previous experience includes serving as a sales engineer at Q, where responsibilities included evaluating elastomer sealing RFQs for competitive quotations, and leading the sales and estimating team at PJ's Fabricating, Inc. Akey's career began with an apprenticeship at King Machine & Tool Co. and later included a position as assistant manager at Yund’s Car Wash. Akey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from The University of Akron and two associate degrees in Design and Mechanical Engineering Technology from Stark State College.
