Danny Melendez

Danny Melendez currently serves as Senior Manager of Commercial Finance at The Wine Group since September 2022. Prior to this role, Danny Melendez spent over two decades at The Save Mart Companies, holding various leadership positions including Director of Compensation and HR Operations, Senior Director of Org Design & HR Systems, and Senior Director of Training/HR Services. Responsibilities included oversight of organizational design, HR information systems, payroll, and executive support for high-level projects. Early in the career, Danny Melendez gained extensive retail experience, progressing from Head Clerk at New Deal Market to Store Manager at The Save Mart Companies. Danny Melendez is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Leadership & Management Development from Corban University, having previously earned an Associates of Science Degree in Business Administration from Modesto Junior College.
