Stephanie Shao Lmsw

Stephanie Shao, LMSW, has extensive experience in therapeutic and educational roles. Currently serving as a Therapist at The Women's Center since March 2022, Stephanie previously worked as a Registered Behavior Technician at Attain ABA Therapy and a Psychiatric Technician at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington. Earlier experience includes working as a Teacher's Aide at the Reginald S. Lourie Center, where Stephanie supported students in maintaining a positive learning environment, and as a Teacher at Tzu Chi USA, delivering language and cultural lessons. Additionally, Stephanie held leadership roles at the Washington Metropolitan Association of Chinese Schools Inc., including Head Counselor and Summer Camp Counselor/Teacher. Academic achievements include a Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Science in Family Science from the University of Maryland.
