Gilene Graham has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in January 2021, they worked as a Marketing Team Member at Their Campus Media until January 2023. In June 2021, they took on the role of Communications Coordinator at the Association of Black Law Enforcers, which lasted until September 2021. During the same period, they were also a Front Desk Receptionist at the City of Kingston. In September 2021, they became a Music Coordinator for Varsity Events at Wilfrid Laurier University, a role they still hold. In April 2022, Gilene became the Director of Marketing at the WLU Association of Black Students, and they are currently serving as the Marketing Chair for the WLU Communications Student Association. Additionally, in May 2022, they began an Internship as a Philanthropy and Events Intern at MLSE. Finally, starting in December 2022, they will be an Extern in Marketing and Operations at The Women's Network.
Gilene Graham attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 2020 to 2024, where they pursued an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree. Their major was in Political Science, and they also completed a minor in Digital Communication Studies. In addition to their academic pursuits, Gilene obtained a Smart Serve Certification from Smart Serve Ontario in March 2021 and a Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from the Canadian Red Cross in April 2021.
