Marine Matsumura

Mcgill Chapter Co-vice President Events at The Women's Network

Marine Matsumura has a diverse work experience in various organizations. In 2022, they were the Editor-In-Chief of the McGill Journal of Political Studies and had previously served as the Managing Editor for the same publication. Marine was also a Co-President of McGill Students for UNHCR and a Legal Intern at FWCanada, an immigration law firm. In addition, they worked as a Staff Writer for the McGill Journal of Political Studies. Marine has also contributed to The McGill International Review as a Rédactrice - Section francophone. In 2021, they held the role of Vice President Communications for McGill Students for Speak to Lead and Vice President External for McGill Students for UNHCR. Marine also had a leadership role as the McGill Chapter Co-Vice President Events for The Women's Network, where they were responsible for organizing networking events and supporting collegiate women.

Marine Matsumura began their education at Lycée français international de Tokyo, where they completed their studies until 2019. Following this, they attended Ecole alsacienne in 2019 with no specified degree or field of study. Currently, Marine is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Political Science at McGill University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
