Ilia Florentin

Ilia Florentin has extensive work experience in various roles related to strategy development, sustainability, and project management. They began their career at Gilbane Building Company, where they held positions as Project Engineer, Purchasing Agent, Estimator, Project Scheduler, and eventually as Project Superintendent. They then moved on to Graphisoft US, Inc. as a Virtual Construction Consultant. After that, they worked at Archstone as a Development Associate and later as a Development Director. Following that, they joined Gilbane Building Company again, this time as a Special Projects Manager - Value-Added Services. In 2013, Ilia joined McKinsey & Company as a Management Consultant in the Capital Productivity Practice, focusing on improving clients' return on capital expenditure investments. Most recently, Ilia has been employed at The Wonderful Company, starting as a Manager, Strategy and progressing to Director, Strategy, Senior Director, Sustainability Strategy, and currently holds the position of Associate Vice President, Sustainability Strategy Lead.

Ilia Florentin holds an MBA degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, which was obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, Florentin completed a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Civil Engineering/Construction Management from the University of California, Berkeley, for the duration of 1999 to 2000. Additionally, Florentin earned a Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 1993 and 1999.
