Susy Johnson has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Susy started their career as a Real Estate Legal Assistant at Hill Heard Oneal Gilstrap & Goetz (now known as Hill Gilstrap) in 1983. Susy then worked as a Legal Assistant at Law Snakard & Gambill from 1987 until 2001. In 2001, they joined The Woodmont Company as a Paralegal and later became the Vice President. In addition to their role at The Woodmont Company, they held various leadership positions at the Fort Worth Paralegal Association, including President Elect and Director of Education from 2014-2016 and Immediate Past President and Parliamentarian in 2018.

Susy Johnson, TBLS BCP, began their education at Chippewa Valley Technical College in 1979, where they pursued a Paralegal Certification approved by the American Bar Association. In 1980, they transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and obtained an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies. Later, Susy enrolled at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they completed Real Estate Licensing Courses and earned a BBA degree in Real Estate. Additionally, they fulfilled the Texas Required Undergraduate Courses in Real Estate at Tarrant County College.
