Thomas Glaser is an experienced leader in grant operations and financial management with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Vice President of Grant Operations at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education since August 2020, Thomas has previously held the position of Associate Vice President of Grant Operations. At Columbia University, from August 2001 to October 2019, Thomas was responsible for managing a $17 million departmental budget and overseeing $11.75 million in research programs as Department Administrator, and also provided financial oversight for a $10 million national demonstration program as Administrative Manager. Earlier roles at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene included Deputy Director of Operations and Regional Borough Director, with a focus on finance, human resources, and public health services. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh.
