Miguel Mota has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Miguel started their career at Villa Sandini Hotel & Spa as a waiter in 2015. Miguel then worked as a waiter and trainee at The Yeatman in 2016, and later joined The Presidential as a waiter in 2017. Miguel returned to The Yeatman in 2017 as a trainee and then took on roles as a waiter, wine shop assistant, and head waiter & host at The Restaurant. Miguel Mota currently holds the position of Sommelier, Head Waiter & Host at The Yeatman since September 2018.
Miguel Mota completed their education in a chronological manner. Miguel started attending Escola Secundária de Santa Maria da Feira from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained their 12º ano degree in the field of study "Restauração - Restaurante/Bar". Following this, from 2016 to 2018, they attended Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Porto, where they pursued a degree in Gestão Hoteleira - Restauração e Bebidas. In 2019, they furthered their education by attending the Wine & Spirit Education Trust for a program called WSET Nível 2.
